Poltergeist

You’re there when I sleep,
when I lay awake at night.
You’re there, in my comfort,
and there, in every fright.
You’re there, in the darkness,
that can’t escape the light.
You were there then.
And you’re here...tonight.

You’re never to be seen,
but you’re always in my sight.
You’re there when I look left
and there, too, when I turn right.
You’re there, in my warmth,
and there, in every freight.
You find me in the deepest depths,
and I find you in the highest heights.

Where-ever I go, you are there.
You’re my ghost; my poltergeist.
